What is Chiropractic most effective at treating?

I am often asked the question, "What is chiropractic care most effective at treating?"  My reply stymies the "asker," as they wait to hear low back pain, neck pain, headaches and or sciatica. My answer is prevention. Chiropractic's greatest virtue is in preventative care. No different than oral hygiene in preventing dental disease, spinal hygiene with regular check-ups to the chiropractor not only prevents future problems from occurring (muscular imbalances, degenerative changes and neural disruption from the spine), but enhances bodily function, performance and health.  The spinal adjustment restores motion to spine increasing flexibility. The adjustment reduces the friction from fixated spinal joints, preventing degenerative changes (arthritis) and the improvement of neural impulse flow ensures that all of the vital organs and systems in the body are getting all of the nerve energy they need to function properly. Regular, non-symptomatic preventative visits to the chiropractor range from 1-2 x per month, tailored to the individual's lifestyle and or needs.
