Take a Pill Lose Weight. Not without risk.

Cranberries have a nutritious chemical make-up which includes polyphenols.  Polyphenols have been shown to reduce the risk of developing urinary tract infections (UTI) and reduce the risk of symptomatic UTI.  Cranberries in other studies were not shown to help men or women during pregnancy with the same condition.  Women who are prone to UTI infections should consume cranberries or cranberry supplements on a regular basis.  Try and find organic cranberry juice sweetened with stevia or monk fruit sugar as the commercial brands like Ocean Spray are loaded with sugar or high fructose corn syrup. Alternatively it is easy to make your own cranberry sauce with a little water, honey or stevia in a small pot on the stove.  In addition, cranberries are rich in iodine and high in flavonoids which have been shown to lower the risk of heart disease, cancer and all-cause mortality.

Aspirin is a staple medicine that is commonly given to control inflammation and prevent blood clots.  But did you know aspirin could have helped limit the number of deaths during the covid pandemic?  Research published in April of 2021 revealed tat aspirin reduced Covid-19 patient’s need for mechanical ventilation by 44%, ICU admission by 43% and death by 47%.  The shame of it was that when the simple and inexpensive aspirin was suggested by leading doctors as a treatment during the pandemic it was widely downplayed and ignored by the CDC and our government experts and the pharmaceutical industry.  Ironically, 50 years ago when expensive and side effect ridden non- steroidal anti-inflammatories were developed by the pharmaceutical industry, the same industry started a massive campaign to discredit aspirin use.

Over 16,000 people have developed tinnitus (ringing in the ears) after receiving the covid-19 vaccine.  This number is more than likely an underestimate, as very few doctors report side effects to vaccines to the CDC vaccine adverse reporting system.  Dr. Konstantina Stankovic director of Stanford University’s Molecular Neurotology Laboratory is leading a research project on how the covid vaccine may be affecting auditory function and causing tinnitus. Dr. Stankovic stated her email has been bombarded with reports of people developing tinnitus after receiving the covid vaccine. Dr. Gregory Poland, director of Vaccine Research Group in Rochester, Minnesota also developed tinnitus after receiving the covid vaccine and has been suffering for over two years. Dr. Poland’s organization receives daily emails from people who have developed covid-19 vaccine tinnitus.

Take a pill, lose weight.  Not without bad effects.  The popular weight loss pill developed by the pharmaceutical industry that decreases appetite and burns body fat (which you take daily for life or as long as you want to stay thin for), has a very long list of side effects. The drug, Wegovy can cause severe nausea and vomiting. The drug info packet also contains warnings that include thyroid tumors, pancreatitis, gall bladder problems, acute kidney injury, diabetic retinopathy and suicidal thoughts.

A much safer and healthier way to lose weight is to exercise and change the type of food you eat, removing processed food and seed oils from your diet.  In addition, time restricted eating, intermittent fasting and low carb diets are all effective ways of losing weight and avoiding dangerous side effects from weight loss medication.

Want to have improved bowel movements?  Produce more healthy synovial joint fluid in the hips and knees?  Increase muscle mass?  Improve balance and coordination?  Try adding deep squats to your exercise routine.  Deep squats are squatting with feet flat on the floor and dropping till your hamstring muscles touch your calves.  Long hours of sitting tightens calf muscles and hip flexors.  Deep squats are easy to incorporate into your daily routine. Squat to pick things up off the floor or your child. Or add free squatting to your exercise routine. Bodybuilders and weightlifters call this type of squat, full squats.
