Lose Weight With Psyllium Husk

Psyllium husk fiber research was reviewed and published in the Journal of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.  The results show that psyllium husk is a safe alternative to weight loss drugs like Ozempic.  The study found that psyllium husk consumption decreases body weight, body mass index and waist circumference in overweight individuals.  Psyllium husk also has appetite reducing effects, relieves constipation and may be useful for cardiovascular health.

 

Vitamin K is found in leafy green vegetables and vitamin k supplements are essential to take with vitamin D.  K works with D, helping your body to absorb calcium into the bones and teeth while also helping heart health.  New research shows that people with the highest levels of vitamin k have significantly lower risks of atherosclerosis (hardening of the arteries) and heart disease.  Be aware that cholesterol statin drugs deplete the body of vitamin K.

 

FYI, just like the flu shot being formulated based on last years flu virus, the new Covid-19 booster shots are based on the Omicron variant which has since been replaced by other variants.  The FDA anticipates that the Covid shot will be updated yearly like the seasonal flu vaccine which has been shown to be just over 40% effective at preventing the flu.

 

Brain tumors, according to the National Brain Tumor Society, were diagnosed in over 700,000 Americans per year.  Brain tumors are associated with a 1 in 3 survival rate.  The most common signs of brain tumors include changes in memory, mood and vision, as well as nausea, persistent headaches, seizures and weakness / numbness.

 

Lion’s mane mushrooms have been found to improve memory in animal studies.  Mushroom consumption in general are associated with lower rates of neurodegenerative disease and also have immune system enhancing benefits.

 

Covid-19 vaccine researchers have found that the mRNA vaccine spreads to the breast milk of lactating women. The findings, published in the Journal of the American Medical Association urges mothers to be cautious about breastfeeding babies after receiving the vaccine.
