Life saving sepsis protocol; Honey 1st for cough, Splenda health issues

Honey instead of antibiotics.  The United Kingdom Department of Health is recommending the use of honey as a first line treatment for coughs. Their intention is to limit the use of antibiotics to help curb antibiotic resistant bacteria.  Which, by itself is ironic, since most coughs, sore throats, colds and flu are viral, not bacterial.  Antibiotics do not treat viral infections and should never be prescribed as a first line treatment for these symptoms.  Most doctors give antibiotics to patients, “Just in case” there is a bacterial infection without testing for bacteria. This methodology of the prescribing doctors is a huge contributing factor for antibiotic resistant germs and bacteria.

Honey has antibacterial, anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties that make it an ideal natural medicine.

The amino acid taurine seems to have a important role in anti-aging, longevity and health.  When taurine was give to mice in a research study, the median lifespan of the mice increased significantly.  Life expectancy at 28 months was raised by 18%-25%.  Taurine improved strength, coordination, endurance, bone mass, glucose tolerance, age related inflammation, immune function and gut health.  In addition, researchers found that taurine is important for brain function and heart health.  Taurine is found naturally in seafood, poultry and red meat.  Or you can grab a bottle from the health food store.

Sepsis is a life threatening condition that may come on with a bacterial infection in the body.  An estimated 11 million people, including children, die from sepsis each year.  Dr. Paul Marick, a critical care doctor from Sentara Norfolk General Hospital in East Virginia developed a treatment protocol known as H.A.T.  which stands for hydrocortisone, ascorbic acid (vitamin C) and thiamine.  Marick’s protocol, which was published in a medical journal in 2017, saves lives.  The treatment regimen is 200 milligrams of thiamine every 12 hrs, 1500 mg of vitamin C, ascorbic acid every 6 hours and 50mg of hyrodcortizone every six hours for two days.  This protocol reduced the risk of dying from sepsis from 40.4% to only 8.5% chance of death.  Marick’s results suggest that early use of IV vitamin C with corticosteroids and thiamine are effective in preventing the progressive organ damage , including kidney injury that comes from sepsis.  Sadly, this treatment is not yet the standard of care in the medical profession and most hospitals are not aware of this life saving treatment.  If you or your family ever encounter a sepsis condition, please insist on the Dr. Marick H.A.T protocol.

More bad news for artificial sweeteners.  The Journal of Toxicology and Environmental Health found that a chemical broken down in your body after eating the artificial sweetener Sucralose is genetically toxic and breaks up your DNA.  Sucralose is marketed as the brand name Splenda.  So, significant are the researchers findings that they are urging the food standard agencies to review safety and regulatory status of this artificial sweetener.  In addition, the World Health Organization warns that consuming aspartame (Equal) as well as Sucralose (Splenda), despite having zero calories offers no long term benefit for reducing bodyweight. Studies actually suggest using artificial sweeteners can make you can weight by increasing your appetite.  Also, aspartame is a well known neuro toxin and eating this can cause symptoms that mimic multiple sclerosis.

Why does asparagus make your pee smell funny?  Asparagus, while very good for you and high in fiber, contains metabolites such as methanethiol and dimethyl sulfide that causes the malodorous bouquet in your urine.  Ironically, the ability to smell the odor varies in people and populations, meaning you may not be able to detect the unique smell.

Pregnancy Prenatal Chiropractic Care Info:  A smooth, healthy and speedy delivery after 9 months of pregnancy is every new mother’s dream when it comes to the birthing process. But what you may not know is that a misaligned pelvis can lead to difficult delivery issues as the baby isn’t always able to get into the most ideal delivery position. For mothers who hope to have a natural and non-invasive birth, this can lead to problems.  Pregnant chiropractic  patients have reported that with regular prenatal care, their deliveries seemed faster and required less artificial intervention.  Studies have found that chiropractic during pregnancy is both effective and safe, which means that expecting mothers may enjoy the benefits of chiropractic physically as well as mentally. During pregnancy the body goes through an incredible amount of biomechanical & hormonal changes that can alter spinal curvature, balance and gait patterns by affecting key areas of the human body.  Prenatal chiropractic care can help the body adapt to changes and to maintain a healthier pregnancy.
