According to the latest research, the covid-19 pandemic could be resolved in 30 days for about $2 per person by raising vitamin D levels among the general public.  Optimizing vitamin D levels reduce your risk of severe covid  by 90%.  In a recent study of 20 European countries, the probability of developing and dying from covid-19 is practically zero when vitamin d blood levels are above 30 ng ml.

Left untreated, the condition can cause serious complications like weakened kidney and liver function and decreased blood supply to the fetus.  Mediterranean diet includes lots of vegetables, fruits, nuts, whole grains, legumes and healthy fats from non-seed oils (walnut, olive, avocado).  Fish is on the Mediterranean diet, but is not recommended during pregnancy due to mercury levels in fish.  Lean red grass fed meat and poultry are good substitutes.
