More dangerous food preservatives, PLUS Covid-19 vaccine update

Sodium nitrite is a synthetic preservative added to meats like hot dogs and deli meats to help them maintain that nice pink color. In the presence of heat—especially high heat—nitrites can combine with amines in processed meat to form nitrosamines, and these are carcinogenic.  Amines are a chemical compound derived from ammonia.  The heating of these preservatives most commonly occurs in the summer time on outdoor grills. Summer time grilling of meats containing nitrates are processed hotdogs, sausages, ribs, porkroll, bacon, bratwursts, etc. Nitrosamines inflict cellular damage and have been linked to cancer, typically in your colon, bladder, stomach, or pancreas.  The California Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment is currently considering listing nitrite in combination with amines as a known carcinogen.  Think twice before you buy that package of hot dogs and bacon.  The good news is that more and more nitrate free brands are showing up on the market shelves including hot dogs and cold cuts.  Since we are speaking of hotdogs, here is more depressing news.  You might not be aware of this, but nearly every time you eat bread in a restaurant or consume a hamburger or hotdog bun you are consuming bromide an endocrine-disrupting chemical commonly used in flours. The use of potassium bromate as an additive in commercial breads and baked goods has been a huge contributor to bromide overload in Western cultures. Bromated flour is “enriched” with potassium bromate. Commercial baking companies use it because it makes the dough more elastic and better able to stand up to bread hooks. However, Pepperidge Farm and other successful companies manage to use only unbromated flour without any of these so-called “structural problems.” Studies have linked potassium bromate to kidney and nervous system damage, thyroid, gastrointestinal discomfort, and cancer. The International Agency for Research on Cancer classifies potassium bromate as a possible carcinogen. Potassium bromate is banned for food use in Canada, China, and the European Union (EU).  Wow.  Eating has become a scary thing.  The bottom line is with a little diligence in the supermarket, reading labels, you can find food without these ingredients. Organic breads do not contain bromide or other unnatural preservatives.

Pregnancy and Prenatal Chiropractic Care:  More and more women are discovering the many benefits associated with chiropractic care in pregnancy. The most common complaint where women seek chiropractic care in pregnancy is for low back pain.  84% of patients receiving spinal manipulative therapy reported relief of back pain during pregnancy. There was significantly less likelihood of back labor when adjustments was administered during pregnancy.

Pediatrics:  Recent research reported in the Journal of Pediatric, Maternal & Family Health – Chiropractic on an infant with colic following birth trauma reveals that chiropractic may play an important role in co-managing these infants. The literature included supports the role of chiropractic in infants suffering from this health challenge and calls for more research in this area. “Numerous case studies and some clinical studies are revealing that there is a relationship between abnormalities in the spine, the nervous system and the various health challenges that infants experience” stated Dr. Matthew McCoy, a chiropractor, public health researcher and editor of the journal that published the study.

Covid-19 Update:  According to the latest research, the odds of contracting Covid-19 outdoors is 00.1%  The number rises if you are in a large densely pack crowd that has people with symptomatic coronavirus. The CDC and Dr. Fauci have also stated that asymptomatic people are not drivers of covid-19 transmission.  To spread the virus, a person must be coughing and sneezing the virus onto you. Or spreading germs by touching things with unclean hands that you will be touching.  According to recent reports on the CDC webpage, the survival rate for ages 69 and under contracting covid-19 is 99.5%

Covid-19 Vaccine Update.  40% of Americans are fully vaccinated. 33 million people have contracted coronavirus (10.4% of the population).  Recent studies are suggesting that it is not a good idea to have the covid-19 vaccine if you have had the coronavirus in the last 6 months, as you will be subject to a severe reaction due to the spike protein in the vaccine that mimics the spike protein anti-body from the virus in your body.  CDC states that there have been 5800 breakthrough Covid-19 cases within 2 weeks of receiving the vaccination.  Meaning, 5800 vaccinated people have contracted Covid-19.  Which makes sense, since the vaccine has very limited contraction protection and limited spread protection.  The vaccine is designed to help prevent severe cases and hospitalization.

Here is your informed consent information related to the Covid-19 vaccine:  CDC reports that adverse vaccine injuries for 12-17 year olds have more than tripled in one week.  Overall, vaccine reactions according to CDC VAERS increased this week, from 227,805 to 262,218 adverse events.  VAERS received 4,406 reports of death (0.0017%) among people who received a COVID-19 vaccine. CDC and FDA physicians review each case report of death as soon as notified and CDC requests medical records to further assess reports.  Adverse reactions thus far:  14,949 requiring hospitalization and 34,435 trips to the emergency room.  Pregnancy adverse reactions as per CDC website:  1,641 adverse reactions, 527 miscarriages.
