Chiropractor Discusses Opioid Addiction

Chiropractors Health Tip of the Week:  Chiropractic care and the benefits from said care are extremely wide reaching. When the Chiropractor adjusts the spine many wonderful things happen in the body that can improve health.  That being said, chiropractic is widely known for its ability to ease pain in people suffering with back, neck or headache conditions.  Since care given by chiropractor is 100% natural, this puts chiropractic in the forefront of the opioid addiction crisis. Most people come across their first opioid medications due to a health condition that is causing pain. Prescribed by medical doctors to ease pain, opioids are highly addictive and are now linked to be the gateway to other addictive drugs like heroin.  Since chiropractic care is drug free and is very successful in relieving back, neck and headache pain, the chiropractor should be given every consideration when those symptoms are present.
