Health First Chiropractic Clinic / Dr. J. Zimmerman are widely recognized and  known for its range of Chiropractic techniques and other services.


 

  • Computerized SEMG (Surface EMG and Thermal Scan  to analyze spinal muscle and nerve function.  The SEMG test measures electric current coming from the musculature, giving the doctor a baseline as to abnormal spinal muscle contractions.  The Thermal scan measure abnormal skin temperature differentials which acts as a screening tool for autonomic (organs and bodily systems) nerve function.  Both tests are non-invasive and completely harmless which allows them to be repeated easily to monitor improvement.
  • Extremity adjusting:  Our office provides care of  symptomatic joints of the body that are related to abnormal spinal function.  Ex. shoulders, knees, wrists, ankles and elbows
  • TMJ:  Adjustments are provided to the temporal mandibular joint to help correct TMJ syndrome
  • Low force, gentle, specific spinal adjustments using the arthrostim mechanical adjusting instrument:  Perfect for those anxious about "regular, hands-on" chiropractic care.  The arthrostim delivers an extremely effective adjustment to infants and children, elderly patients, those with complicated health issues and people just plain nervous about being "cracked."
  • Other techniques include:  Hands-on, full spine chiropractic (cracks), Activator Technique, Drop Table Technique, Flexion-Distraction therapy for herniated discs
  • Cranial Adjusting:  Adjustments are performed to fixated cranial bones to help imrove bodily function to many different areas of the body.  Patients suffering from headaches, effects of head traum, vertigo, tinnitis, ADHD and learning disorders have received benefits from cranial adjusting.
  • Occipital Drop Spinal Analysis:  Systematic analysis that allows the doctor to determine exactly what  the cause and where the cause of the patients spinal or extremity problems is coming from.
  • Websters Breech Baby Turning Technique:  Certified by the International Pediatric Chiropractors Association, Dr. Zimmerman has had much success in turning breeched babies to the proper position with this soft tissue, gentle technique.
